Located between piers 89 and 94 under the Gardiner Expressway, a landmark in the urban landscape of Toronto, the site provides an opportunity for public space that links Fort York and June Callwood Park, building a
continuity in the urban fabric. The project aims to create an immersive and interpretive experience that tells the story of the city with a focus on Indigenous storytelling. Another key concept is the programing flexibility through different spatial arrangements that ensure a continuous usage of the site. The proposal made it to the competition’s shortlist.
